The event pageant is always interesting to follow. The United States has just finished crowned the title of Miss USA 2015 contestants from Oklahoma, Olivia Jordan.
Olivia managed to beat more than 50 other contestants in an event held Civc Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The 26-year-old girl wowed the judges and audience when given a question on the issue of race in the United States in the final round of assessment.
"We still have to discuss things smell of race. We have to learn to be a society can accept, no matter what your race or gender. All people deserve the same rights and opportunities," Olivia said, as quoted from Aceshowbiz Monday (07/13/2015).
Alicia 'take' the crown from last year's champion, Nia Sanchez. Right in sequence thereafter, contestants from Texas, Ylianna Guerra was appointed as the first runner-up, followed by Anea Garcia of Rhode Island, Brittany McGowan of Nevada and Mame Adjei of Maryland.
Miss USA has recently had to face controversy after the creator of the event, Donald Trump, revealing comment that has been criticized by many parties regarding immigrants from Mexico. The millionaire mention many immigrants from Mexico are classed as 'rapist' and 'criminal' who could only provide a problem for the United States.
