Sex workers 'killer' Google executives sentenced to six years

Alix Tichelman was arrested eight months after the death of the director of Google, Forest Timothy Hayes.


Commercial sex workers, Alix Tichelman, was sentenced to six years in prison after admitting causing the death of a Google executive, Timothy Hayes Forest.


In court in Santa Cruz, California, 28-year-old woman admitted causing the death of Hayes and give him a heroin overdose.

The incident occurred in 2013 when the two met on a yacht belonging to Hayes not far from the port of Santa Cruz.

Port surveillance video footage showing Tichelman Hayes tried to resuscitate the unconscious, drinking wine, packed up her personal belongings, lowering the curtain and left the corpse Hayes without asking for help.

Her was arrested in 2014, eight months after the death of Hayes.

Her lawyer said Hayes deaths caused by heroin overdose by accident.

Besides admitted causing death, Tichelman also pleaded guilty to destroying or hiding evidence and confessed to involvement in prostitution.

When it died, Hayes served as director of the research laboratory Google X.

His family had rejected the case was brought to court for fear the case will further embarrass them. (BBC)
