Google Admits Hangout Service Eeasily Intercepted

Google Akui Layanan Hangout Mudah Disadap

SAN FRANCISCO - In a question and answer session, Google admitted that it does not use special encryption for conversations in instant messaging services, Hangouts. By this means each conversation in Google Hangouts very easily intercepted.

According to the motherboard, the type of encryption that is absent from Hangouts services are 'end-to-end encryption'.

If a service uses this encryption, then no one, except the sender and the recipient, who can see and read the conversations that are sent through the service.

Even so, Google asserts that the entire conversation is now encrypted and can not be seen or read anyone, except Google itself.

Unlike Apple who is proud because his message has been equipped with an encryption service end-to-end, Google is not much talk about how it was keeping user privacy.

Since its inception in 2013, Google has received 19 requests from the US government to conduct wiretaps against Google's services, it is likely that among them is a demand for tap Hangouts.
