50 Years of Death of Malcolm X Commemorated in New York

Malcolm X's daughter called to reassess her father thought important for civil rights in America.

Ceremony to honor the leaders of civil society campaigner black Malcolm X held at the location where he was murdered 50 years ago.

Activists, politicians, and actors, were among the 300 people who attended the tribute to Malcolm X in Harlem, New York.

In that event, one of Malcolm X's daughter called to reassess his father thought important for civil rights in America.

When he died, the Muslim leader has become more moderate in conveying messages about black separatism. He was an ardent advocate of the unity of the group of black, self-respect, and self-confidence.

BBC reported on Sunday (02/22/2015), the ceremony was held on Saturday (21/02/2015) local time, at the Education Center and Memorial Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz, formerly known as Space Audubon.

Blue light flashed on the right floor Malcolm X, whose real name El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, was shot dead.
