Android application developers seem very busy in 2014 ago. This is evident through the number of applications in Google Play more than the number of applications in the iOS App Store.
A recent report from AppFigures revealed that the number of applications in Google Play rose 50% last year. Thus, this being the first Google Play surpass iOS App Store in terms of number of applications. Google Play also shows the development of the most significant when compared with the iOS App Store and Amazon Appstore.
"What is interesting is that even though Apple continues to grow rapidly, Google Play was the one who really grown," said AppFigures.
Meanwhile, told Mashable AppAnnie also revealed that Google Play indeed have more apps than iOS App Store. Google Play has about 300 thousand applications (17%) lot more than the iOS App Store.
However, overall the iOS developers still make more money than Android developers. Although downloading Android 60% higher, the report AppAnnie Market Index for the third quarter of 2014 states that iOS developers earn 60% lot more.
