Claimed to have married to Bill Gates, a woman in China along with his friend and then cheat a businessman to nearly 20 billion dollars. Both are now on trial.
Fujian Provincial High Court sentenced 13 years in prison to Zheng Jiaxin (a pseudonym) and 11 years in prison to Chen Xiaoyun. The two women aged 31 and 32 years was also fined each of one million yuan (about 2 billion dollars) and 800 thousand yuan (about 1,6 billion).
They were found guilty in fraud case at 9,34 million yuan along with a number of luxury gift to a businessman named Zhang Li in Sanming, Fujian Province.
Zheng Zhang first met in October 2012 ago. She then introduced Chen to him by saying that her friend was the daughter of a former high-ranking Chinese government.
He added also that the woman recently divorced from Gates and were intending to get married again. To convince Zhang, Chen was then create a picture of herself with the officials in question by Zheng.
Unfortunately, as reported by the Global Times, the fraud committed by Chen and Zheng during the month of December 2012 until May 2013 was finally revealed. So far the Chen family has returned a total of 3.5 million yuan (about 7.1 billion). Both Chen and Zheng also have to pay a fine amounting to 500 thousand yuan (more than one billion).
