Kotawaringin Barat, Indonesia - Efforts to evacuate the bodies of victims QZ8501 AirAsia aircraft from KRI Bung Tomo Basarnas helicopter Wednesday (31/12) afternoon to fruition. 2 The bodies were evacuated with techniques drawn with rope hoist or steel by helicopter from KRI Bung Tomo towards Air Platform Pangkalan Bun, Kotawaringin West, Central Kalimantan.
As shown Liputan 6 SCTV evening, Wednesday (12/31/2014), two bodies of the victims were taken to hospitals Sultan Imanuddin, Pangkalan Bun. While 5 other bodies are still on the way. So that a total of 7 victims who had been evacuated today.
Evacuation effort was continued by sea and air. A joint team is also still looking fuselage believed to be 25 to 30 feet below sea level.
In hospitals Imanuddin, both bodies of victims cleaned and prayed by clergy in Central Kalimantan Regional Police Command Post DVI. The bodies then put in a coffin that had been given a wreath before being taken to Surabaya, East Java.
Meanwhile, the Government of West Kotawaringin has prepared 162 coffins for the victims of AirAsia plane QZ8501 Surabaya-Singapore route.
