Personal phone Hitler put up for auction

Personal telephone Adolf Hitler put up for auction, which will hold a February 19, 2017 the American Alexander Historical Auctions auction house. Starting price of the device is $ 200-300 thousand.


Telephone was in Hitler's Berlin bunker and was used to connect the last two years of World War II. The device is made of black Bakelite, his body painted with red paint and decorated with a swastika.


In May 1945, after the capitulation of Nazi Germany, the phone was presented by the Soviet military to the British liaison officer Ralph Rayner. In 1977, when he died Rayner, the unit succeeded by his son, Reynulf.
