FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are Wednesday night clash in the return of the eighth finals of the Champions League. The French start the game with a 4-0 win in the first leg victory. Here are five things you should know about the match at Camp Nou.

1. Mission Impossible Barcelona

History shows that Barcelona zero percent chance to reach the quarterfinals. Never in the history of European club football team managed to make a good 4-0 defeat from the first leg. Well it happened three times that a team went through to the next round after a defeat by four goals difference in the first leg.

In season 1985/1986 repaired Real Madrid a 5-1 defeat against Borussia Monchengladbach in the UEFA Cup by winning 4-0 at home. A year previously won Partizan Belgrade in the same tournament with 4-0 Glasgow Rangers following a 2-6 defeat in the first leg. And Portuguese Leixos won in 1961/1962 in the European Cup II 5-0 to the Swiss FC La Chaux-de-Fonds, after a 2-6 in the first game.

2. Large home victories

Over the past nine seasons, FC Barcelona played still minimal in the quarter finals of the Champions League. Given the form in home games the Spanish superpower can hope for a miracle against PSG. No more club won a home game in the miljoenenbal with at least five goals difference than Barcelona. The Catalans managed it nine times. Bayern Munich is second on the list with eight spacious home victories.

The last three home games of Barcelona in the Champions League ended in victories of 4-0 (Manchester City and Borussia Mönchengladbach) and 7-0 (Celtic). 4-0 would be the at the end of the season, leaving coach Luis Enrique to the team against Paris Saint-Germain enforce an extension.

3. Suarez is dry

Because Barcelona needs a lot of goals, the eyes are on the attackers. Luis Suarez in the Champions League struggled to find the net. The last ten attempts of the Uruguayan yielded no hit on. All five matches in a row Suarez did not score, his longest series without a goal in the tournament.

Neymar is in nineteen matches in the Champions League on behalf of Barcelona and can match Patrick Kluivert. The current technical director of Paris Saint-Germain made twenty for the Catalans. Only Rivaldo (22) and Lionel Messi (93) scored more often. This season, the Argentinian was good for ten matches in the Champions League.

4. Cavani wants to surpass Ibrahimovic

Also, Paris Saint-Germain have Edinson Cavani with a top burner in Uruguay. The current top scorer of Ligue 1 (27 goals) is on its way to becoming top scorer of the French club in the Champions League. Cavani is on nineteen hits, just one less than Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Cavani was accurate in his last three Champions League matches. He never scored four games in a row.
