GOOGLE Doodle present the latest illustration of celebrating 41 years of the discovery of the Australopithecus Lucy, Tuesday (24/11).



Perhaps you wonder who or what is meant by Luci si Australopithecus?

This is the name given to the fossil that once formed the species Australopithecus and lived in Ethiopia, 3.2 million years ago.

Lucy the australopithecine found just this day, 41 years ago in the form of hundreds of bones representing 40 per cent of a woman's body skeleton of the species Australopithecus afarensis.

Lucy discovery first occurred in 1974 by Donald Johanson and Tom Gray. This fossil is regarded as one of the most important fossil ever found. Because to be a part of history that reveals the process of evolution and the origin of man.

In this latest Google Doodle, displayed the interpretation of the "March of Progress" in the form of illustrations theory of evolution from ape to man.
