Oops, Starbucks Coffee Sugar Exceeds Health Rules

How about another drink? Eggnog latte contains 58.2 grams of sugar. Toffee nut latte, 50 grams of sugar, and ginger gingerbread latte whip containing 47.9 grams of sugar.

NHS recommend them over 11 years to consume 30 grams of sugar per day. While the WHO recommendation is no more than 6 teaspoons of sugar per day for adults.

Simon Redfern, director of communications Starbucks, said Starbucks buyers can ask version drinks lower in calories and sugar. Such as the use of skimmed milk and whipped cream stripped.
