Tens of thousands of Britons and Russians stranded in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, one week after a plane belonging to Russian airline crashed in the Sinai last week.

The Russian government says nearly 80,000 citizens now in Egypt and some of them were on holiday in Sharm el-Sheikh. While about 20,000 Britons can not be expected to depart from the city on the banks of the Red Sea.

This condition occurs because the Russian government to stop all flights to Egypt and the British government negate flights to Sharm el-Sheikh after Metrojet airline plane crashed in the Sinai that killed all 224 passengers and crew.

Although England eventually reopen the flight, but the number is very limited. This was done because Russia and the United forbid passengers to carry their bags to the aircraft cabin. The bags will be sent to Russia and Britain separately.

Until Saturday (07/11), the five airlines that operate nine flights only capable of carrying 1,945 people back to England.

"Due to the limited number of flights leaving Sharm el-Sheikh to the UK every day, the possibility of a travel agency or airline would advocate a number of people to extend their stay," said a spokesman for the British government.

As a consequence, all the accommodation costs will be borne by the travel agency or airline, the spokesman added information.

As with the Russian government, as many as 44 aircraft would be deployed to transport their citizens stranded in Egypt. Evacuation is expected to take place in two days.

So far, it is not certain the cause of the crash of Airbus A321 belonging to the airline Metrojet. A French investigator said the flight data recorder revealed the existence of "a loud noise that suddenly" of the explosion.

The British investigator-which examined the causes of the crash of Russia in Sinai- believe that a bomb placed inside the plane before takeoff.

However, the investigation team leader, Ayman el-Muqadem, said they were reviewing 'all possible scenarios'.
