France has declared a national emergency and closed its borders at least 20 people were killed in armed attacks and bombings in Paris.



At least 100 people were reported dead in the Bataclan concert hall in the center of Paris.

Gunmen seized a lot of people before it was ambushed by the police.

Other victims died in an explosion near the Stade de France and the armed attack at a restaurant in the town center.

Five attackers were reported killed.

Parisians have been asked to remain indoors and around 1,500 personnel have been deployed all over the city.

Deadly attacks apparently targeting the Bataclan concert hall, a number of unconfirmed reports mention a number of visitors was shot after being held hostage. A police source told the AFP news agency, at least 100 people were killed there.

Speaking after arriving at the Bataclan, French President Francois Hollande said the attackers would be fought "without mercy".

At least three gunmen were reported killed on the spot.
