A court in Egypt sentenced for six months to two belly dancers on charges generate bad character.
The verdict relates to dance attractions Suha Mohammed Ali and Dalia Kamal Youssef, famous as her Egyptian Shakira, the video clip shows a track titled Al-Kamoun.
The second dancer lawyer said his client did not mislead vices on public morals and do not tarnish the image of Egyptian women.
Penalties to the belly dancer is not the first time this has happened in Egypt. In March, a dancer named Safinaz also sentenced to prison for six months for allegedly insulting the national flag.
The charges were addressed after Safinaz colored gown Egyptian flag in a video.
Another dancer, Salma el-Fouly, was sentenced to six months in prison last July due to minimal wear in a video clip of the song.
Not only dancers, cameraman also participated punishable by imprisonment for six months. The man who produces videos and also performed in the show was sentenced to one year in prison. (BBC)
