"It is a tough task for the next month," said Thomas.
Satellite Lapan-A plan will be enabled to carry out the mission of vessel traffic monitoring, marine security operations, fisheries, marine resources exploration and Indonesia, the satellite is equipped with Automatic Identification System (AIS). This technology can detect thousands of vessels with a coverage area of observation and thousands of kilometers.
Meanwhile, the mission of amateur communications on Lapan-A2 aims to communications in disaster and emergency amateur radio activities in support of national interests.
