Ahmed's father, Mohamed Elhassan Sudanese told his son, "just want to make something good, but because his name was Mohamed and since the 11th of September then my son did not deserve to get treatment."
Council on American-Islamic Relations said Ahmed's father suspicions may be appropriate.
"I think this will not be questioned if his name is not Ahmed Mohamed," said Alia Salem, a member of the local council.
