The project lasted 10 years and worth up to 64 million pounds sterling is believed to be the largest search for alien life. Later, the researchers will be to listen to the broadcast signal from more than one million stars that are closest to the earth.

"Somewhere in the universe, perhaps, intelligent beings will see our light, realize what they mean," Hawking said at the launch of the project, which was compiled by a group of Breakthrough Initiatives at the Royal Society in London.

"Or if the light we wandered into the universe that do not have a life? Flares are not visible, declare that here, on the one stone, the universe find his whereabouts. Aside from that, no big question. It's time to commit to finding the answer - to look for extraterrestrial life, "he added.

FYI, the two most powerful telescopes in the world - Green Bank in West Virginia, USA and Parkes in New South Wales, Australia - will be used also in search of alien project.

Breakthrough Initiatives also stated that these efforts will include the sky 10 times more and scanning the radio spectrum is 100 times faster than previous efforts

No lag, the technology billionaire Yuri Milner who also helped finance the phenomenal project also stated that he wanted to bring "approach to Silicon Valley" in the search for intelligent life. "Today's technology gives us a real opportunity to answer the biggest questions of mankind: Are we alone?" he said.

Well, let's wait deh development project this one!
