Great, Surfer Mick Fanning Escaped From Shark Attack

Sharks are one of the deadly sea creatures, but the story is different for Australian surfers Mick Fanning. He actually managed to escape from death of the two shark attack while attending a championship in South Africa.

The incident occurred when Mick Fanning was competing in Jeffreys Bay, from Cape east when one of the sharks approached the surfboard.

Final Open J-Bay is just beginning when Fanning was knocked out of the surfboard and the sea. Fanning is the defending champion in the world surfing championship. Despite the injury, but Fanning managed to escape from the jaws of the ferocious sharks. The tournament was canceled due to the incident.


"I just sat there and I felt something just stuck in my leg rope, and I kicked trying to get it going," Fanning said Fox Sports.

"I just saw the fin. I'm waiting for the teeth."

Fanning, the triple world champion, said he was able to hit the back of the shark.

The terrible incident also was captured by one of the television, when Fanning was struggling to escape from the jaws of sharks.

Reuters said he has no surfers in the area that was torn by a great white shark to death in 2013.
