NBC Monday (06/29/2015) says terminate its business relationship with millionaire Donald Trump, for racist comments about immigrants during the announcement of his presidential candidacy from the Republican Party, reported the Associated Press.
NBC said it will no longer publish the annual "Miss America" and "Miss Universe", which is a joint venture between the broadcasting company with Trump. Trump said he already will no longer appear in the show "The Apprentice". While NBC said "Celebrity Apprentice" to continue without Trump.
In the announcement he will run for US president from the Republican Party on Tuesday (16/06/2015), Trump issued a racist remark about immigrants. He blamed Latino immigrants into the United States carrying drugs, criminals and rapists. He called for the wall built along the US border with Mexico.
Trump argued he only criticized the Obama administration policies related to Mexico, not the people of Mexico.
Meanwhile, Thursday and Univision had already said it would not participate organizes beauty contest "Miss USA". And actress from Puerto Rico and the host of "Miss USA" Roselyn Sanchez did the same.
