Lizard in food on the plane, Air India denied

Photos lizard in the food was horrendous plane


Airline Air India strongly denied reports about the discovery of a lizard in the food served on a flight from New Delhi to London on Thursday (11/6) then.



Rebuttal was focused on publishing an image on social media is meant to show the head of a lizard behind a stack of bread at a food dish that flight.

It was unclear from the photo whether the lizard was alive or dead.

India's government-owned airline called the report "false and baseless conjecture news," which is made to tarnish their image.

Alleged incident occurred when a stewardess serving lunch, reports The Times of India.

As soon as the food was placed in the buffer food in front of the seat, a passenger heard screaming, the newspaper reported citing a source.

The source said, the food was served with a plastic sheet coating film, and the lizard emerged from behind a stack of burgers.

Air India accused, the photo was raised to tarnish their image

"Passengers were very angry and threatened to submit a complaint to the airline on landing," the source said in excerpts Times of India.

But Air India quickly denied the accusation.

"There's no such complaints from passengers, either on the plane, or in the office AIr India in London," said Air India in their twit.

India's civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju also dismissed the allegation. He pointed to the fact, since the uproar in social media, in fact, no one who claims to be the person who photographed bread.

The furor comes amid a situation of debt-ridden Air India giant, which reportedly resulted in the postponement of the payment to the company of their catering services.
