Curiosity spacecraft on duty on Mars - (ist)
Citing VOA News, NASA researchers revealed that they found more evidence that Mars could support life time.
They say the Curiosity rover vehicle discovered nitrate in Mars rocks. Nitrate is a compound containing nitrogen, an essential ingredient for life.
However, the scientists said there was no evidence that nitrogen was derived from living things, and they emphasize that the surface of Mars can not sustain all forms of life. They say that the nitrate ancient and probably originated from a meteorite or lightning strikes.
This is not the first sign that the planet might once occupied a time. Previous findings have shown that fresh water once covered the surface of Mars.
