Success with the Android mobile operating system that is used by more than one billion people in the world, does not make a quick Google satisfied. The search engine company, still wants to dominate human life with its services, this time on television.
Through CES, held in Las Vegas, Google announced its three partners who will produce the range of Android-powered television. Sony, Sharp, and TP Vision (Philips) is a company appointed to contribute to the smart TV running the Android operating system in the spring of this year.
By using the Android operating system, the owners do not need additional software to access Google Play and platform AndroidTV. Features offered of which is the Voice Control that allows users to search by voice commands. In addition, there is also Google TV Cast that allows owners to stream content available on tablets and smart phones on the TV.
"When we launched Android on a mobile phone in the year 2008, we never imagined that we were able to connect to more than a billion people. And now, we are working together with the entire ecosystem of our television partners - hardware makers, service providers and chip makers to change the atmosphere of the living room, "said a Google spokesman.
