Consumers in India Takes 10 Hours Before Buy Cars


New Delhi - Half of car buyers in India takes 10 hours before deciding to buy or not. For the first time to buy, the most important aspect in the selection of family needs than the car is brand image.

As reported by Motor Trend India, Saturday (01/03/2014), trends in consumer behavior as it is known from research Deloitte India. Information and car reviews from word of mouth and social media is a reference that they believe.

"However, the majority of them, do not like being in the dealership more than 45 minutes," the report said.

It is also mentioned, an important factor to be considered is the need of the family car purchase. Aspects of it 8 times more important than the brand image. However, for consumers who have twice technology and cabin flexibility becomes a major consideration. This aspect is considered to be three times more important than the brand image.

The research report also mentions 70 percent of prospective car buyers in the country, to test drive a car they would buy. So that 50 percent of the prospective buyer takes 10 hours more before deciding.

From the consumer's car, 50 percent more generally have three reference brand in their minds. However, 40 percent of consumers who have three reference brand, generally recommend a brand that they do not buy to others who ask for their consideration.
