Michel Platini said FIFA's image 'very bad' under the leadership of Sepp Blatter.
Blatter middle of a campaign to be elected head of the World Football (FIFA) for a fifth term.
"I support him (when held elections FIFA president) in 1998 because when he was the best candidate. But after he served for several periods, there needs refreshment and let other people (for the lead FIFA)," Platini said in an interview with French radio , Europe 1, Tuesday (12/09).
"The image of FIFA is very, very, very bad so I think it's better if Blatter stopped, but it seems he is not willing (retreat)," Platini said.
FIFA presidential election will be held next year and so far two outstanding names, Blatter and Jerome Champagne, a former French diplomat who has been a consultant and member of the FIFA executive committee in 1999 to 2010.
Platini said he would not support Blatter and Champagne and hope will emerge alternative candidate.
