Rebuttal was made after the weekly magazine Der Spiegel ran an article that mentions that the DFB collect secret fund of 6.7 million euros from the former boss of Adidas, Robert Louis-Dreyfuss.
"The DFB has denied the allegations unfounded that the association has paid illicit funds in connection with the World Cup in 2006. The association also disputed the conclusions are unfounded as a whole that the funds are used to buy votes in exchange for the World Cup," said DFB.
Disclaimer also declared FIFA. "These are very serious allegations which will be reviewed as part of an independent internal investigation which is now undertaken under the FIFA legal director with consulting assistance from outside."
When applying to host the 2006 World Cup, Germany fought a number of countries. In the final stage, Germany dealing with South Africa by voting. As a result, Germany won 12 votes ahead one voice alias.

Der Spiegel claimed the Chairman of the 2006 World Cup Organising Committee, Franz Beckenbauer, and Chairman of the DFB, Wolfgang Niersbach, sebenarya know the origin of these funds.
