Malaysia strengthen our citizens to do the attack on behalf of ISIS

The atmosphere of the city of Homs, Syria, shortly after a suicide bomb attack.


Malaysian Police said one of its citizens commit suicide attacks to a group calling itself the Islamic State or ISIS in Syria last month.


Malaysian citizens were identified as Ahmad Affendi Abdull Manaff, 27, of the state of Kelantan.

He is known to leave for Syria in April to join with ISIS.

Authorities believe Ahmad Affendi Abdull Manaff drive a truck filled with bombs in Homs early last month. His attack killed 50 Syrian soldiers.

According to the Malaysian authorities, 40 Malaysians are known to have joined a group calling itself the Islamic state in Syria and Iraq.

They also arrested more than 40 people are so far known to provide support or funding to militants.

Recently, Prime Minister Najib Razak said the government is designing new legislation to deal with terrorism.

This was done to address the growing trend that ISIS lure young children.

They use the social networking site Facebook to lure young people and fund them joined ISIS.
