Briton showed a flying prototype suit of Iron Man

Richard Browning, founder of the British startup Gravity Industries, demonstrated a working prototype suit "Iron Man." Featured version allows, albeit awkwardly and briefly, but flying, almost like comic book superhero Tony Stark.

The unit called DEDAL exoskeleton is fixed to the limbs with six jet engines, as well as a fuel tank disposed on the back like a backpack. The prototype allows you to stay in the air a few minutes at a height of about one and a half meters.

While the maximum speed does not exceed the speed of a running man. According to Browning, such flights are not more dangerous than a trip to a sports bike in the countryside. At the same time aviation fuel has been chosen precisely because of its non-explosive properties. Unlike with conventional ideas jetpacks, Daedalus design gives more control and greater freedom of movement to the pilot.
