NASA launched a library of photos and videos available to all

Now you no longer have to revise dozens of websites of space missions just to find space images for printing or using them as desktop wallpapers. NASA launched a new online library to host the best images, videos and audio from 60 collections. But the best thing is that the entire database is accessible to anyone with an Internet connection.

What is there?

Of course, all photos ever taken by space vehicles and telescopes of the agency, on this site can not be found. It contains only the best of what NASA has ever produced for the general public. For example, photos taken when landing on the moon "Apollo 11". But even in this case, more than 140,000 files are available in the search. They can be sorted by creation date or by popularity, if you do not know where to start.

Some images even contain EXIF (camera) data, including exposure, the lens used and other information, and all videos have subtitles. Also the site is adaptive - its interface is automatically scaled for screens of smartphones and tablets for easy searching of files even on mobile devices.
