Microsoft is working to a Game Mode for Windows 10 that would maximize the performance of allocating games on them more PC resources.
Microsoft has always stressed early on that Windows 10 was a perfect platform for the game. It recalls, in this regard, support for DirectX12 , the streaming of the games with the console Xbox One and Game DVR . A little over a year after the launch of the new operating system, Microsoft also announced Xbox Play Anywhere that allows users to buy only once the game to be able to play both on consoles and PC.
Innovations and improvements in gaming continue to arrive and an important step forward in this regard will be made with the launch of Windows 10 Creators Update which will debut for all during the spring of 2017. Among the many new features it seems that there is a new and very interesting. Microsoft, in fact, is working to a " Game Mode " that would allow to optimize the gaming experience. This new feature has been identified in the last build of Windows 10 test leaked in the last hours by the network.
According WalkingCat, this feature should allow the operating system to optimize the allocation of computer resources to enhance the gaming experience. In other words, this "Game Mode" should give higher priority to the games rather than the other applications of the operating system.
It also seems that this feature will be offered under the brand name " Xbox ." Difficult, however, to understand today if indeed this feature will be introduced by Microsoft in Windows 10. Possible, then, but do not assume that the "Game Mode" can get by upgrading to Windows 10 Creators Update.
News, in this sense, surely arrive in the coming months with future new build of the operating system that will be issued to Insiders.
