China opened the world's tallest bridge, which is 565 meters above the Nizhu River and connects Yunnan and Guizhou Provinces.

According to state television "CCTV", the bridge, located over the Beipanjiang Valley, is 1,341 meters long and cost 1 billion yuan, about R $ 472 million. With more than a thousand engineers and technicians participating in the work, the structure began to be built in 2013 and was completed in September of this year.

According to the transportation department of Guizhou, this is the bridge with the longest vertical distance between its platform and the land surface. The height is equivalent to a building of 200 floors.
