Brawl breaks out in the crowd at UFC Fight Night event in Melbourne

The fighting was meant to take place inside the ring but mixed martial arts spectators were the ones throwing punches. A brawl erupted in Melbourne on Sunday afternoon after Ultimate Fighting Champion Robert Whittaker defeated Derek Brunson at Fight Night. Two men threw punches outside Rod Laver Arena shortly after 5pm AEDT. Screaming can be heard as a man in a white shirt kicks another man on the ground, as a crowd surges towards him. Women are also seen moving towards the men at the front entrance of the venue, as the other man in the fight falls towards the ground with his dark grey shirt lifting up. The Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust, which runs Rod Laver Arena, said two security guards broke up the brawl after noticing the fight on closed-circuit TV cameras. 'A few blokes had a bit of a scuffle. We deployed security immediately and 10 seconds later it was over,' spokeswoman Enna Giampiccolo told Daily Mail Australia. 'No police intervention was required.' | DailyMail
