Star Wars movie producers want a touch of women directors

The issue of gender was no longer a significant problem in the world of entertainment. Today, many emerging filmmaker-cinematographer great women whose work is able to be taken into account. At least, this is the one that is well recognized by the Star Wars film producer, Kathleen Kennedy.



"There is nothing we want more than to find a female director for Star Wars. There is an assumption that the people involved should be men. But there are fans of Star Wars are also women. That's what so crazy," said Kathleen Kennedy quoted Aceshowbiz.

Six Star Wars movies will come indeed be with the director of men. But Kennedy will attempt to enter the woman's touch in one of the upcoming movie Star Wars. In fact, she had no hesitate with the plan.

"I'm sure there will be a lot of people are surprised when we made the movie Star Wars, involving most of the development story of women. It will happen. I will start looking for the woman who will direct the movie Star Wars. I did not hesitate," continued Kenneedy.

Kathleen Kennedy noted as one of the most influential women in the Hollywood film industry. Lucasfilm's leadership wants to enable women to take part in the Star Wars franchise. He also gave some of the requirements are not too heavy for the candidates.

"It's not just about finding a women director for Star Wars. We want to make sure that the director she was having a love of Star Wars.
