Four were killed in a car hit parade

STILLWATER - A woman who allegedly drunk crashed into a crowd of people who are following the arrival of the athletes parade welcoming the University of Oklahoma, and killed four people. The collision took place in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States (US)



It was also reported in addition to the dead, there are 34 people were injured, eight people were in critical condition. Police said that seven of the eight critical taken directly helicopter and taken to hospital. Meanwhile 10 people who were watching, reportedly one in critical condition and nine were seriously injured were taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Names of victims, both dead and wounded officers have not been released by authorities.

Captain Kyle Gibbs from Stillwater police say the suspect car driver death was named Adacia Avery Chamber (25), was arrested after crashing the victims. Gibs also said that the suspect driving drunk.

According to the police statement, Chambers drove right into a police motorcycle owned that was parked before hitting the crowd at the parade.

"It's clear the suspect was drunk, and it is a major cause of the arrest of the suspect, before the case can be developed further," said Gibs as reported on NBC-2 News, Sunday (25/10/2015).

The deadly collision occurred at 10:31 local time on October 25, 2015, just hours before the arrival of the athletes. The athletes parade welcoming the fact as an event to initiate Football match to be held at Boone Picken Stadium between the Oklahoma State University against the University of Kansas.
