Number of users in California claiming Apple makes them swell phone bills.
Wi-Fi feature called the Assist by Apple intended to "experience of accessing the internet becomes much more smoothly" and therefore the device will automatically move out of the wi-fi signal to the operator.
But some users claim these features make them swell phone bills.
Not a few users, especially prepaid ones, only use wi-fi when accessing the internet in order to save costs.
But by Apple Assist feature Wi-Fi is turned on by default in the latest version of the operating system iOS9.
Technology blog AppleInsider said that some users find Apple does not provide sufficient information about the displacement of the wi-fi signal to the operator.
According to Daniel Gleeson, mobile phone analyst at IHS, in general users of the iPhone is not affected by this feature.
"Usually they are in the premium category, which usually has a 'quota' data are great. But for the prepaid users, this could be a big problem," said Gleeson. (cnn)
