"The nature of our investigation was limited and we work basing on the evidence we have," said Lynch.
"I thank you for the cooperation of all parties and on evidence submitted to us," he said.
Lynch does not disclose the names of which will be investigated, as well as when formal charges will be dropped.
It is delivered Lynch during a press conference in Zurich, Switzerland, on Monday (14/09) together with the Swiss Attorney General Michael Lauber, who says the Swiss law enforcement officers raided homes and apartments in the Alps region, associated with the FIFA investigation.
On 14 May, the prosecutor's office in the United indicted nine FIFA officials and five sports marketing company directors extortion, money laundering and fraud worth more than US$ 150 million for more than 20 years.
