Reporting from CNN, the gunman identified named Vester Flanagan, a former television reporter WDBJ7 also known by the name of Bryce Williams.
Twitter account on behalf of Bryce Williams, seen two tapes that show someone walking toward WDBJ TV crew and pointing a gun at them.
Another nudge in the account reads, "I recorded the shooting".
The Twitter account, along with a Facebook account with the same name was blocked shortly after the nudge.
While, ABC News reported in a Twitter account that it received 23 page manifesto sent by fax on behalf of Bryce Williams. The document is still under investigation by the police.
In the chase by the police, Flanagan who fled by car Ford Mustang gray production in 2009, then besieged police on Interstate 66 and shot himself. It is unclear whether this time he was killed or injured.
"I do not know if I want him dead or alive," said WDBJ Manager Jeff Marks told CNN.
