As reported by Antara on CNN, Friday (07/03/2015), 65-year-old actress of Puerto Rico was revealed plans to exit from the show Sesame Street at the American Library Association Annual Conference, recently in San Francisco.
Manzano first appeared on Sesame Street in 1971 and became a regular series in these characters in 1974. Manzano, Maria, has become an integral part of the series.
News of the retirement plan is to invite sadness in social media, and Manzano responding to some fans were disappointed.
