Origami Robot Can Cure Diseases

One more sophisticated invention are useful to medical science. This is the origami robot that can cure various diseases.



This is a very small-sized robot. The shape is similar to origami and has usefulness to cure patients of certain diseases. As reported by the CBC, pyang robot is made by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and can be folded up by itself, runs, passes through some material, swim up destroying itself.


By weighs 0,3 grams, the robot is able to move automatically, and be able to push the lighter load, running on a human arm to swim at the surface of the water. Because of its small, this robot is said to be entered into the human body, helping to medical duties and destroys itself when completed fulfill their duties.

The team from the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory MIT reveal that origami robot that has been developed since 2012 and is able to work wirelessly, technology tether, or batteries. Miniature robot is claimed can promise a variety of medical applications for use in the human body.
