California - This is the world's first detailed picture of lightning/thunder. Like what?
Gizmodo launch, in a paper presented at the meeting of the American Geophysical Union, Maher Dayeh of the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, USA, reveals a detailed picture of lightning.
To get a picture of the condition of thunderstorms this acoustic maps, Dayeh do it in a US military installations in Florida.
The method used in this trial is by firing a rocket into the sky while in the rain storm.
The rocket launch would trigger lightning, and scientists record with 15 pieces microscope.
