Leslie 'Les' Baugh was formerly an electrical expert in Colorado, USA, who lost both arms in an accident 40 years ago. Now he became the first to be able to move his artificial hand operated through the mind.

This advanced artificial hand made by a group of scientists at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), reports Laughingsquid.

System on the artificial hand is a virtual reality system (VRS). The VRS system to study the movement of Les and then apply it to the fake hand, so that it can be moved by the command of mind.

Mike McLoughlin of the Revolutionizing Prosthetics in APL see this as a major step in the development of the human hand-made world.

"I see it as a first step. As eras early development of the Internet. It is a very large potential in the future," said McLoughlin.
