Coronamino, Old Toyota Pickup Hunted Collectors World



New York - At Toyota Motors Corporation launched the Toyota Corona Mark II in 1968, most people thought the car was only offered in three variants namely coupe, sedan, and station wagon. It turns out that the assumption was wrong, because the car was also made in the form of a pickup that is now being hunted by collectors world.


As reported by Jalopnik, Thursday (1/1/2015), nicknamed Coronamino pickup was introduced together with his three brothers, coupe, sedan and station wagon. But unlike the first generation that carries the Mark SOHC engine, Coronamino carrying 1.587 cc OHV engine that powered 98 hp.

To use a drum braking system on all four wheels. Toyota provided him with the independent suspension system.

With the engine and a series of supporting security and convenience features, performance and comfort on par with Ford Ranchero Coronamino. Interestingly, Toyota also offered in the form of a double cabin, in addition to single cabin version.
