Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia Residents gathered in the streets of the city center to commemorate the 58th independence from British rule.
The previous day, the street is filled by the protesters, who are mostly ethnic Chinese and Indians.
They demanded that Prime Minister Najib Razak resign.
Demonstrations that took place over the weekend was triggered by reports of unnatural arising from accounts belonging to Najib. Allegedly, Najib received a gratuity of more than US$ 600 million.
