Motorola wants to prove its seriousness to play in the smartphone market. It is seen from the release of three brand-new devices at once in an event, the Moto X Style, Moto X Play, and the latest generation of Moto G.
Interestingly, the event was held simultaneously in three cities in three different countries, namely New York, USA; London, United Kingdom; and Sao Paolo, Brazil.
Moto third new series comes with a physical design that is similar, although it has many differences in terms of landscape display and internal specifications.
Moto X Style
Moto X Style is a series of top smartphone released this time. Companies that have been acquired by Lenovo uses a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 Quad HD pixels. Density levels reach 515 pixels per inch.
Other specifications are used, 808 Snapdragon SoC hexa-core 1.8 GHz, Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB RAM, 16/32/64 GB of storage capacity that can be increased up to 128 GB using a microSD card, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
Motorola seemed to want to prioritize camera technology promoted by the Moto X Style. "(Motorola) can ensure that the camera in this phone is the best in its class," said Adrienne Hayes, Marketing VP of Motorola, as KompasTekno quotes from The Verge, Wednesday (29/07/2015).
To prove the claim, Motorla pinned camera with 21 megapixel image sensor on the back, complete with dual LED flash light. Whereas, for the front camera, there is a camera with a 5 megapixel image sensor.
Later, Motorola X Style will run on the Android operating system 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Moto X Play
This device has the features and specifications slightly below the Moto X Style. It was equipped with a 5.5 inch screen berbentang with support Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The density of the screen of 401 pixels per inch.
In addition, Moto X Play 615 is equipped with a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon SoC octa-core processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 2 GB RAM, and storage memory of 16/32 GB with microSD card support up to 128 GB.
Camera sensors used in these devices together with Moto X Style, the 21-megapixel rear camera and a front camera of 5 megapixels.
The added value of this device is that it uses a battery, which amounted to 3,630 mAh. Motorola, in his press conference, claiming that these devices can live for 48 hours.

Moto G
This is the Moto G third generation. This device is the cheapest of the three smartphones that was announced at the event.
In terms of specifications, it is equipped with a 5 screen resolution of 720 pixels, 410 Snapdragon SoC 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 306 GPU, RAM choice between 1 GB to 2 GB, the choice of 8/16 GB storage which can be expanded with a micro SD card , and a 2,470 mAh battery
Camera sensor used is quite high. At the rear, there is a 13 megapixel camera with dual LED flash. Meanwhile, at the front there is a 5 megapixel camera.
One feature is a mainstay of this device is IPX7 certification. That is, the Moto G third generation can survive in water at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.
He will also run on the Android operating system 5.1.1 Lollipop.
All three devices will be present in different releases. Moto G is said to be released in 60 countries, including North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region from the end of July.
Moto G would be sold at a price of 180 US dollars, or approximately USD 2.4 million for the configuration of 8 GB of storage and 1 GB RAM. Whereas, for the version with 16 GB of RAM 2 GB can be redeemed at a price of 220 US dollars, or approximately USD 3 million.
Meanwhile, Motorola is not willing to disclose the price of the Moto X this series. Motorola would only reveal that Moto X Style will be sold "200 to 300 dollars" cheaper than the best phone iPhone or Samsung. Play Moto X is said to be cheaper "300 to 400 US dollars" from competitors.
Moto X Play will be available from August in continental Europe, Latin America, and Canada. Apparently, this model will not be available for the Asian market and the US.
Moto X Style itself will be available in September in Europe, Latin America, and North America. The Asia Pacific region will follow towards the end of 2015.
