The head of Facebook's new security officer, Alex Stamos finally decided to put an end to Adobe Flash for good. Stamos steps taken along with Steve Jobs and Apple's CEO.
Reporting from BusinessInsider, Tuesday (14/07/2015), it was announced Stamos via a post on Twitter. He finally decided to put an end to Flash and replace with the new Flash.
After Hacking Team publish about the hacking, the company sees great importance supervision to avoid leakage files online. It is feared that such leaks due to vulnerability with Adobe Flash player.
Adobe has tried to address this issue, but more vulnerabilities. In fact, soon after Adobe announced it has completed some of the problems, not long later found at least 20 bugs.
Adobe has been actively working to fix this issue, but Flash appears to be targeted by hackers. Security blogger Graham Cluley agree with Stamos.
"The company will probably get more respect from the Internet community, if make improvements Flash problems," he said.
Once declared had ended, everyone can transition to a more secure and open HTML5 option. Facebook, for example using Flash and HTML5, depending on browser preferences.
