Bending Thailand, Indonesia men's team badminton gold achieved

Indonesian men's team celebrated victory over Thailand in the final of the badminton SEA Games in Singapore.


Indonesian badminton men's team won gold at the SEA Games in 2015 in Singapore by beating Thailand 3-2 in the final round, Friday (12/06).



Acquisition of gold Indonesian team is determined by the last player, Ihsan Maulana Mustafa, who beat single player Thailand, Suppanyu Avihingsanon, through the rubber match set, 20-22, 21-16 and 21-9.

"I am very happy the Indonesian team was finally able to win a gold medal. I think, when? This is the time, I had to win," said Ihsan was quoted as saying Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI).

Problem defeat in the first set Ihsan claimed because he was less patient with the opponent, but was winning pretty far.

The day before Ihsan also a decisive victory against a tough team Malaysia in the semi-finals.

Jonatan Christie defeated players Thailand, Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk, 17-21 and 19-21.

Aside from Ihsan, Indonesia victory points contributed by the men's doubles pair, Angga Pratama/Ricky Karanda Suwardi which beat Bodin Issara/Nipitphon Puangpuapech 21-15 21-13.

Which also contributed to the victory was Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Gideon finish Fernaldi resistance Pakkawat Vilailak/Wannawat Ampunsuwan 21-19, 18-21, and 21-14.

While Thailand steal two points to win through Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk, who beat Jonathan Christie 21-17 21-19, and victory over veteran, Boonsak Ponsana, who proved still too strong for the Word Abdul Kholik.

Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk Indonesia beat the single-player, Jonathan Christie, in straight sets.

Boonsak Ponsana relatively easy win 21-7 and 21-14.

With this defeat Thailand failed to marry badminton team gold, after their women's team won gold by beating Malaysia 3-0 in the final round.
