Houston - Hyundai, using some of the Genesis sedan to 'send' a message into space that once carved a world record. Like what?
Worldcarfans launch, creative idea is part of a campaign called a Message to Space.
South Korean car company is using 11 units of the Genesis sedan to write a message from a child astronaut named Stephanie from Houston who misses her father who was working at the International Space Station ISS.
Stephanie finally realized Hyundai's desire in a unique way.
After searching several locations, Hyundai finally choose Delamar Dry Lake, located in Nevada as the right place to write.
This message uses an area of 5.55 km2, which means the size of a half times larger than Central Park. The messages are also recorded in the Guinness World Records as The Largest Tire Track image ever made.
