After 11 years of unknown tracks, robotics Beagle-2 aircraft was eventually found on the surface of Mars after the orbiter camera on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, NASA photographed in mid-January 2015.
Beagle-2 was launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) and should have landed on Mars on Christmas Eve 2003 after the launch of its parent aircraft, Mars Express. Unfortunately, robotic aircraft that should examine the signs of life on Mars, failed to capitalize on solar panels and lost contact with the control center on Earth.
