Bolts easily corroded brake, Harley recall thousands of bike again



New York - Harley-Davidson back to recall thousands of bike. This time, the withdrawal of this massive force 19.015 owner Harley Dyna and Softail must be extra vigilant. Therefore, this problem can lead to fatal accidents.

As reported Inautonews and Motorbikes Times, Saturday (03/01/2015), the motor-splattered this problem is Dyna and Softail FXST103, FLSTC, FLSTC103, FLSTF, FLSTF103, FXDL, FXDWG, FXDWG103, FXDC, FXDB, FLSTN, FLSTN103, FLSTC103Shrine , FLSTFB, FLSTFB103, FXS, FXS103, FLS, FLS103, FLD, FLD103, FXDF, and FXDF103 model of 2012. All of the model it is a motorcycle manufactured between August 22, 2011 until February 24, 2012.

Believed, motors were experiencing problems in the braking system. Reportedly, the bolt on the front brake master cylinder corrosion.

"In the affected motorcycles, the bolts on the front brake master cylinder can cause corrosion. If it is rusty, can lead to loss of brake fluid suddenly, causing the front brake function and increase the risk of accidents," said Harley-Davidson in the official release.

Later, Harley will notify owners of the affected motor and contact dealers will inspect and replace the front brake master cylinder. This withdrawal will begin on January 14 next.
