D-Day tells the story of an agent Wali Khan (Irrfan Khan) who is appointed by the head of the RAW (Indian intelligence agency), Ashwini Rao (Nassar). He was assigned on a mission to oversee the activities of D-Company leader of the most sought after, Goldman (Rishi Kapoor). One day he saw Goldman distributed invitations to people in the mosque when he prayed. Goldman saw a chance to catch him alive, he contacted Ashwini. Ashwini then assigned a team, Captain Rudra Pratap Singh (Arjun Rampal), Zoya Rehman (Huma Qureshi) and Aslam (Aakash Dahiya).
20 years after the events of Jurassic Park. Isla Nublar now fully functional as a park for the dinosaurs. The Company re-animate the park with new attractions with a new type of dinosaur, too.
