Battersea Ferrari crash injures six people after car smashes into pedestrians

PEDESTRIANS MOWED DOWN | Battersea car crash leaves six people hospitalised after £265k Ferrari ploughs into pedestrians on pavement ‘sending them flying over bridge railings’ *** SIX people have been rushed to hospital after a £265k Ferrari ploughed into pedestrians, sending some “flying off a bridge”, in London this morning. Metropolitan police officers, including a horse unit, London Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service, rushed to Battersea park road, south-west London just before 10.30am. Witnesses described the “horrible” scenes after the 2015 Ferrari 458, which costs around £264,270, smashed into people on the pavement. A large section of the road was closed off, close to the Battersea Cats and Dogs’ home. One witness, Hannah, told the Evening Standard: “We could tell it was obviously pretty serious by the amount of ambulances – about six – that were on the road, a police truck and a number of police cars. “I just hope that everyone involved is okay, such a horrible thing to happen right before Christmas.” | The Sun
